How does Team Glam work?
First and foremost we are not an agency for hair and makeup artists, we are a team that works closely and value each other work and creativity. All our stylists/artists at Team Glam work on a self-employed freelance basis. In our ‘Meet the Team’ section you can access our personal portfolios to see more of our work. We usually allocate stylists and artists to our brides by location to give you the best value for money within the team. If there is someone within the team that you have a preference over then please let us know and we will happily check their availability.
Expertise and experience?
All of our teamwork full time in hair and makeup and our experience ranges from bridal clients, fashion/catwalk, editorial, TV, body painting and retail. We have worked alongside brands such as Dior, Berta Bridal, Suzanne Neville, Jo Malone and Savin London to name a few. Our team are currently working independently for BBC, ITV, Sky Sports, National Press and many E-commerce fashion houses. As HD specialists in makeup, we have worked on shows such as Question Time, X-Factor and BBC News. Many of our team started their careers working for high-end brands such as Bobbi Brown, YSL, Dior, Charlotte Tilbury and Nars.
What should I expect from my bridal hair and makeup artist/stylist for my wedding day?
All of our stylists and makeup artists only ever do 1 wedding per day, therefore we are with you for the duration of your wedding preparations. We NEVER leave any of our brides until the moment they leave for the ceremony. When requested we are able to stay for additional hours if this is something you feel you may require. We always stay to assist with the dress, accessories and small detail reminders such as perfume, jewellery and buttonholes. It is our responsibility to ensure that our brides have a relaxed, fun morning with those they choose to share it with. We will organise a time plan to make sure you are exactly where you need to be when necessary.
Do I deal direct with my stylist/artist?
Yes, once you have secured your date with a £100 booking fee (per stylist/artist) you will then deal directly with your stylist and/or artist to arrange your trial dates/times etc. Due to the volume of enquiries that we receive, we are unable to answer each individual question from the team, however, our office team are extremely helpful and are happy to assist. Once your deposit is paid you will receive a confirmation of your booking introducing you to your stylist and/or artists. They will be in touch within 48 hours to organise your booking. If you have any style/makeup ideas on Pinterest or other platforms then please let your stylist/artist know.
‘Save the date’ booking fee
A booking fee is required to secure your wedding date, we only ever do 1 wedding per day per artist/stylist, your wedding booking is not secure until this payment is received. This booking fee will be deducted from the final invoice and by paying this you are accepting the Terms and Conditions of booking. Without first securing your wedding date we are unable to offer any trial dates or introductions to the team.
Do you all charge the same rates?
We all work on the same chargeable rates Monday to Thursday. Our Directors work on a day rate for Friday/Saturday/Sunday and Bank Holiday Mondays. Overseas bookings will be charged at the day rate plus travel and expenses for all team members.

A Director from Team Glam for up to 6 people on the wedding day
Travel is charged at £0.50 per mile. (agreed at the time of booking)
Hair extensions hire for the bride (if required)
Lash Extensions for all of the bridal party (if required)
TRIALS ARE AN ADDITIONAL CHARGE TO THE WEDDING DAY RATE.
Do you offer any discounts?
We do not offer any discounted rates at Team Glam for larger bookings. We work hard to continually develop our skills and make sure we can offer you the highest quality service without compromise to your booking.
Can my bridal party have a trial?
We offer trials to the bride, mother of the bride and bridesmaids. It is not essential for everyone in the booking to have a trial but is highly recommended for the bride. Mother of the Bride and Bridesmaid’s trials must be complete at the same time as the bridal trials.
Do I need to bring anything?
It's not necessary to bring anything along to your trial, however, if you have already purchased your veil or hair accessory then this would be extremely helpful for our stylists. Our stylists do stock our own hair accessories collection for you to try in different styles but there is no obligation to purchase any of the collection. It is easier for us to find an accessory to suit a hairstyle than to work the style around an accessory.
Do you provide hair extensions?
We can provide custom-made hair extensions; these are colour matched to your hair and cut to size. They can be purchased or hired through our stylists.
Do you provide lash extensions?
We do provide lash extensions to our brides and bridal parties, they are an additional cost to your makeup booking unless stated otherwise if you wish to provide your own they are applied free of charge.
Do you provide airbrushing makeup?
We do provide airbrushing makeup; we choose to use Airbase makeup at Team Glam as we believe it is the best possible product available for our clients. If you are specifically looking for an artist who specialises in airbrushing please do let us know so we can accommodate this.
Do you provide hair accessories?
All of our bridal hair accessories are bespoke and handmade by our designer Charlotte Rose. We source all of our materials from the highest quality suppliers from around the world. Our Stylists/Artists will have samples to show you at the trials.
Which makeup brands do you use?
All our makeup artists have personally built kits with their favourite products. All our makeup artists only ever use premium branded products such as MAC, ESTEE LAUDER, URBAN DECAY, BENEFIT, CHANEL, CLINIQUE, GIORGIO ARMANI, YSL, CHANTECAILLE, TOM FORD, CHARLOTTE TILBURY, CHELSEA BEAUTY, AIRBASE MAKEUP, NARS, STILA.
Which hair products do you use?
All our hair stylists have personally built their kits with their favourite products. All our Hairstylists only ever use premium branded products such as MORROCAN OIL, KENRA PROFESSIONAL, L'OREAL, KERASTASE, TIGI
