Founder and Creative Hair Director - Tara Cox

Tara is a bridal hairstylist with over 25 years of experience based in Wickham Bishops, Essex.

About me:

I started out as a hairdresser and then transitioned into bridal hair styling where my true passion lay. I love weddings and helping brides create their dream look.

I met Carla 20 years ago and we instantly bonded and became great friends. Over the next decade we would find ourselves working together on weddings frequently which is when the idea for Team Glam was born. We wanted to create a group of like minded professional bridal hair and makeup artists to provide a full service for our brides.

Over the past 8 years we have worked together on Team Glam creating beautiful bridal hair and makeup for our brides. We have been very fortunate to have worked in some of the most prestigious venues and hotels throughout England, France and Europe and have built great relationships within the wedding industry.

I will work closely with my brides to understand their visions for their wedding day, I have the confidence to understand their brief and make recommendations based on this. I am equally as happy working on a highly glamorous look or something far more simple and anything in between.

I keep my training updated and am also Team Glam’s trainer in bridal hair working with groups, individual and college students as part of their accredited training, I really enjoy this part of my role.

I have styled more brides on their wedding day than I care to admit to and work with them closely on timings for the wedding more to ensure that everyone is ready on time and nobody feels rushed. I will be there to help do up dresses, put on shoes and anything else the bride may require.
